API keys and AI workflows
Connect the dashboard to your n8n and generate workflows by describing what to automate.
n8n API key
In n8n, go to Settings → n8n API and create a key. On the instance API Keys tab, click Add API key and paste it. It is stored encrypted and only its last characters are shown afterwards.
Generate workflows with AI
On the instance workflows page, describe what you want to automate, pick the API key and click Generate. The workflow is created in your n8n, ready to review and activate.
Good practices
Always review a generated workflow before activating it, especially credentials and nodes that send data out. Remove API keys you no longer use.
